Treehouse Workshop May 2010

Our Treehouse Construction Workshops

Be part of an intensive, supportive community of learners and teachers (and trees!)

Four plus days in a forest. Shared experiences. Conversations. Lectures. Hands-on instruction. Laughter. Gourmet food. Bonfires. And you learn how to build a treehouse! As a leader in the treehouse building industry, we'll take you step by step through the whole process. You won't find an experience like this anywhere else.

"The workshop went way beyond my expectations. I honestly feel that I could build a safe structure in a tree with the skills I learned." - Past workshop participant.

Our workshop will equip you with all the skills you need. We cover everything from how to select a tree and evaluate its health to basic tree climbing, tool safety, design, construction of your platform, and how to build and finish your structure. Come enjoy exciting lectures and hands-on experience with lots of one-on-one attention.

"The information was more in depth than I thought possible in four days. The interaction with all the people (staff and guests) was over the top." - Past workshop participant

We welcome every level of experience. Whether you are a novice woodworker who wants to build a treehouse in your backyard, a professional builder who wants to branch out, or someone who just wants to escape and play in the trees, our workshop is for you.

Relish four days of classes and hands on instruction in small groups with plenty of time for discussions. Take the local Treehouse Tour. Enjoy delicious meals together.

"I really had an excellent time getting to learn and grow and hang with such wonderful people. The hospitality was legendary." - Past workshop participant

The first breath of excitement upon arrival will stay with you through the closing ceremony. Return home with lots of informational handouts, a climbing helmet, and that childhood feeling of having been at camp. Bonfire evenings. New friends. Creative inspiration.
