TreehouseARTZ Nelson Treehouse and Supply

North Oregon
Spring 2000

Built in a seven stemmed big leaf maple, it is one of our favorite projects to date. Built initially as tea house for the parents, it was quickly taken over by two young girls. With twenty-seven separate wall plains, railings and support beams are former boom logs salvaged from the Columbia River, carvings done by local Oregon artist Douglass Macgregor, roof shingles crafted to represent the old storybook style houses, and electricity it is truly set apart from most.
