Choosing a Tree

The design process starts by selecting a healthy tree that will continue to thrive with a treehouse in its branches. While it can be overwhelming to pick the ideal tree for your treehouse, especially amidst many trees, our vast experience working alongside professional arborists enables us to select the ideal tree or trees for you. Each tree or group of trees has within its natural shape a perfect tree house design that will fit safely and efficiently. There are a number of factors we consider when choosing the right tree: Proximity to power should you want electricity, proximity to the main house should overnight guests need to shower or to keep a close eye on younger guests.

Since the health of your host trees is of utmost importance, we strongly recommend having a local certified arborist visit your site either before or after our initial visit. You can usually find an arborist in your phone book, or can locate one in your area http:// www.isa-arbor.com. We are also able to recommend someone if you live in the Puget Sound area. A certified arborist can evaluate the health of your tree(s) as well as identify any work that might need to be done to prepare the site for your project.
